Red Pants

Posted on January 21, 2019 by wordhabit

I didn’t think it would take this long. Getting myself dressed, that is. I’ve been doing it for at least 35 years. You’d think I’d have figured it out by now, employing some quick system.

One piece or two? Two.

OK. Pants or skirt? Skirt.

Ok. Long or short? Short. I’ll pair with tights or leggings. Speaking of leggings, I need to find a few more.

Are we going for casual or semi business casual? Let’s say casual with a touch of classic flair. A scarf. That’s easy; I have plenty.

Which top? Sue me now! Honestly, if the bottom is an easy decision the top is not and vice versa. Tops drive me wild because I’m always attracted to linen with zero time to iron the dang linen. But it looks so good hanging on a store rack. So good. What I need is that stuff that’s mixed with exercise clothing. You know. Spandex! I need spandex in everything and in small doses. I don’t want it clinging to me, showing off my mummy tummy but I need it to rough and tumble. I need strong clothes.

I need a uniform.
