the unfair

I’m laying in bed with my daughter asleep on my chest. Well, I’m not really laying. I’m in some this-will-hurt-badly-later position that resembles laying.

Anyway, I can’t help but think of my friend whose little boy is fighting to live at 24 weeks old. This world is a mess. I get to spoil my daughter while he has restricted access to his son–incubators & tubes are mixed blessings.

I pray and pray that my friend will one day get the chance to decide between letting his son sleep next to his heart or letting his son get used to the harder realities of bassinet life.

Pray for baby Lennon and his dad, Chris.

Please. God. Heal.
