8 weeks and counting

Great. Just got an email telling me what my belly will look like after pregnancy. Well after poking it daily with anti-coagulant juice, I’m sure it’ll be real pretty in its deflated form.

More on the juice later…

I never did get to write about the experience so I’ll briefly detail it now. After having a stroke several years ago and after current blood work showing that pregnancy may increase my risk for stroke, the docs decided to put me on a medicine that would keep my blood nice and thin. The day I found out I’d miscarried was the day I was supposed to learn how to inject this drug into my stomach. Now it sits under my bed and I wait in anticipation of being able to actually use it in the future, maybe. It doesn’t expire for a good while.
