the flood

Posted on April 4, 2005 by wordhabit

so the steps from the garage into the basement decided to give way to water on friday.

by night time, it’s cold enough to stop the water flow but by mid-day, water and the basement floor become friends. i guess we’ll have to dig down to the foundation and do some serious work. i envision, new shiny stairs…if cement stairs can be shiny.

i don’t ever desire to be a house owner. i desire a loft. the only drawback is that i won’t be able to do any landscaping…the only fun part of having a house house, in my humble estimation.
