unpacking my unpacking is an analysis-lover’s dream. (said somewhat sarcastically…) take a listen. let me know your thoughts. *correction: i do remember and like details, particularly in my work life. but i don’t remember the ins and outs of what went down long, long ago.

unpacking day 7: holding on
this is mr. pup. he’s one of my oldest memories. i think i purchased (via my parents) him at a school rummage sale. at one point, my older sister and i argued over who he belonged to. somehow i won. i’ve never known myself to sleep with stuffed animals and yet i’ve kept him around…

This little plant has been sitting on our kitchen counter for weeks now, since mid-July to put it into perspective. Our kitchen has two incomparable sky lights which make the kitchen…
unpacking day 2: saying “yes”
once upon a time there was a mug. it was dark blue with a simple line graphic depicting a one-on-one tutoring session. Vinas (sp?) gave it to me. he was (and perhaps still is) the director of UIC’s writing center. as part of my first year as an English Comp GA, i spent time honing…
